I have the same soap (was actually planning on using it this morning). The more I use it, the better I like the scent. Would I order it again? Probably not. There is no disputing the performance of it, though!

I have two more Grooming Dept soaps coming up, a duck fat for tomorrow and a tallow for Thursday. I enjoy the scents more on these two. Hopefully the performance is up there with Before the Fire.

Another quick update from the road:

Shaved this morning with the Otto Roth New LC and Indian Wilkie(2); this was one of the heads on that two-headed razor, albeit with a more conventional handle. All told, a great shave... near-enough BBS, no noise from the Alum, probably nicer than Sunday night's shave in some ways. My only complaints? Maybe a bigger brush and definitely a handle with better defined knurling (the one I used today was a slightly unusual ball-end handle from a lot I bought a while back).

Day two of training today. Yesterday was a massive info dump; today should get to more relevant parts.

A terrific Tuesday morning shave with the General loaded with a Schick Proline. ASW Colonia, easy, thick, shiny slick lather with a spot on fragrance. Kudos to Phil! After three passes, topped with matching scents of Italian Citrus and Colonia Essenza I am deliciously smooth, sweet smelling, and exhilarated. Have a great shave friends!

Up and moving very early this morning. Already at the office working on closing out the books of a solar power company. At least i was able to get a good shave in earlier. I really enjoy this brush. The handle is ergonomic and the knot has excellent scrub, backbone, soft tips and flow through. In other words a face lathering dream. Three passes and touch ups ended with the baby in the house. One weeper from my chin die to operator error. A splash of Fine Santal ended a near perfect shave. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

The prototype is complete, and trials are underway. Unfortunately, it looks like the Clubman off-gassing accidentally cracks windshields. Ed P's engineers are investigating...

I washed my hair with Clubman Country Club Shampoo this morning, Charlie. Here, have some.

 

Charlie was doing fine until he got to Doc Pinaud.
