Thanks, Jim! The reason I asked is I have a sample of it, have only tried it once or twice. If memory serves, the scent is nice, but more subdued than expected. Also - from memory, the slickness wasn't great - not bad -but not top-tier level. Having said that, because it's a sample I bowl lathered it. My bowl lathering has gotten a bit better in recent months, however I've had way better results face lathering than bowl lathering. I'll need to try it again and spend a little more time trying to dial it in.
Kinda odd that it gives you a little burning sensation. I wonder what ingredient(s) is/are causing that? Maybe the fragrance itself?

Nice photo and set up. Love the little one. My granddaughter and I made Jello Wednesday night and put it in the fridge. She got up Thursday morning and woke my wife up sitting in the bed next to her eating the cherry Jello. She is four years olds and blast. I just wish I would have had grandkids first. She is all about Christmas this year!

Lather Catcher Friday! Great shave for a cold day . The synthetic brush worked wonders with the old spice cream!
@Jayaruh this brush is great! IMG_20181221_101141_975.jpg

Not sure what's causing the burning sensation. It's not bad and is gone once my face is rinsed.
Is your sample the triple milled version?

Oops..my bad. I have a sample of the Cognac & Cuban Cigar Aftershave. The soap is the Duc De Santal. Just checked, and yes - it is triple milled - yet, it's more of a putty-like consistency (or croap). Certainly nothing like a traditional triple milled soap like MWF.
Even given the mixup, the results mentioned earlier still remain. Good scent, but weak. And I thought the performance lacked a bit. I will need to try it again to see if better performance can be coaxed out of it.
Fragrances in products can affect some folks quite a bit, yet not bother others. So long as you don't mind the tingle, no biggie.

12/21/18 – I have got to get a hair cut at lunch today so I did a quick shave this morning. I nomally skip a day between shaves.

    No picture today.

Oneblade Synthetic Brush – 20mm knot
    Palmolive Sensitive Shave Cream
    Salsa\Timeless bowl scuttle
    Rockwell 6S
    Voskhod Blade
Nivea Men Sensitive Post Balm Shave
    Drakkor Noir Cologne

Stayed with plate 4 today due to shaving yesterday. Applied some Nivea post balm shave and followed up a few minutes later with some Drakkor Noir.

Very comfortable shave for being a quick one. No nicks or weepers, just smooooooooth!

I hope everyone has a great day.

I made sure my tool was honed by reputable sources first.

Still, in the beginning I noticed a tugging sensation on the first pass. It would be smoother on subsequent passes.

Sounds like it was a great night out, Neal!
Great looking combo, Jim. HetV is one of the Canadian artisans I've yet to try, but have heard great things about that scent. Do you have both the original and the triple milled?
Get home at a decent hour today, Clint. Your girls will only be there for a few weeks!
Beautiful, simple photo, Charlie! I'm sure you are looking forward to Christmas's in your new home next year on.
Great looking combo, Mark! Love the L'Orange Noir, it has become a favourite. Have you tried Stirling's dupe Arkadia?
I agree on the B&M soaps completely, Joseph. I've pretty much stuck to the standard and reserve lines, though.
TGIF for sure! Have a great holiday from work, Andrew.
