yes sir,no one remembers, or even paid attention to razors in those years . i am sure he had a brit service set during the war . i have located and bought one of those and am waiting for it to arrive as we speak,i have his Unicorn darts set and great memories..

 

i may try a rule in the new year.i did the OC focus , but a rule may help me with some discipline ..if my new karve shows up before the new year a karve rule with my usual array of soaps creams and brushes. if that counts..love the variety of software too much to stick to one soap or brush..razor and blade rule for january...any other thoughts for january gents?

I'm going to do a synthetic brush focus. That and continued alphabetical progression through my soaps.

@mrchick got a new warehouse for Christmas. This should be good for the next 4 years. It's a good thing that he moved to Idaho. The zoning in Californy was too restrictive.

 

thats cool, i think you will like them.. for me the have created some of my best lathers,even with mediocre soaps.maybe i need a badger/ boar rule...the synth brush just does the job,the soap just responds without brush prep and absorption factors..

 

will be one heck of a den display..

Actually, let me correct that. That would be their practice facility, not their arena. It'd be hard to fit seats in there and still have room to play.

hello fello shavers, just lounging around this boxing day and thought i d have a shave..usual proraso white prep,loaded the 50s brit rocket.good to go.built a nice creamy mickie lee lather with the ap shave tuxedo, a got a lovely 2 combination pass dfs with minor pick ups..touch of thayers lemon and mickie lee a/s to finish..glorious scent ..and shave, have a great afternoon everyone, gary
