    Good morning!

Terrific shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Nearly silent alum.

I've been doing twelve hour shifts this week. Leave the house before sunrise and home after sunset. Today's picture was taken under artificial light.
Back at it today. Hoping to get out a little earlier today.

    Have a great weekend! [IMG]

    Friday DECember 6

My Rocnel Elite is an excellent razor that hasn't received much use lately. Definitely a DECadent shave.

    Bowl/Scuttle - GP12
    Soap - Le Pere Lucien
    Brush - M&F 30mm
    Blade - Gillette Platinum (10)
    Razor - Rocnel Elite A 2019
Post Shave - OSMA Pierre alum, Epsilon Blue A/S

    Shave rating 5 of 5

4 days since last shave - been pretty busy. My Rocnel deserves to be used more. Very easy to find the right shave angle and even with an old blade, easily and smoothly sheared my whiskers. Did 2 passes, WTG and XTG and finished BBS. The LPL lathered quickly and easily and was slick. The M&F worked the lather into and around my whiskers. The alum was silent, nice. Finished up with the Blue Mediterranean A/S - I like this scent.

Happy DECember and great shaves everyone.

    Good Saturday morning!
    Yesterday's shave left me wanting.
While the wife and I got a bite to eat last night, she said " I thought you shaved this morning? "
    Well......
Tried to make up for it today.

20191207_064207.jpg New blade! Bay Rum! GEM Open Comb Micromatic!
I'm smoother and cleaner than I deserve be for the weekend. No issues, just a great feeling.
    :)

    All
    Enjoy!

Good morning to all on this sunny Pearl Harbor Day 2019. I’m referencing WWII because today I shaved with my father’s Gillette Slim. My dad was a WWII Navy vet, who passed in 2013 at age 99. I’ve had this razor since I went through his things after his death. This morning was my first shave with it. It was a process of trial and error, but I finally found setting 7 to be the right one for my whiskers. The shave was a smooth and close DFS. In any case, after completing my favorite activity to start each day, I feel smooth, clean and refreshed.

    SOTD 12/07/19

    RAZOR: Gillette Slim Adjustable
    BLADE: Suneko
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by Grooming Dept Preshave
    BRUSH: WCS Best Badger
    SOAP: Mike’s Natural Hungarian Lavender
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Thayers Lavender Witch Hazel and finished with Fine Snake Bite AS Splash

Stirling and PAA bar soap works great for me in the winter. Doesn't dry the skin like other so called soap does.
