Loved the fiddle music(another reason why I am an East Coast Guy With A West Coast Frame of Mind). Oh, right, we're talkinabout Joe. Same setup-no liquid pre-shave(that I could see)and he didn't say a thing. He got the thumbs-up in just in time. Nice head of hair back then Joe...whydja cut it off?

I have seen people use axes to shave, but that is a bit much even for me. The guy on you tube has severe neck irritation and should not be using an axe to shave. He needs a straight or a DE to rectify the problem.

hello my finely shaved fellows,do you think that if enough of us complained it could change the course of modern williams soap? i would be happy to pay a little more for a better reformulation than the current price/reformulation product.many folks stood up and gillette finally built a de razor to use with their available blade catalog.think we could put williams back on the map...just curious..:)

Great shave, Evan! The spike here in Pa is so extreme that we decided not to get a tree this year! We’ll be celebrating at my son, Ben’s house this year! I teased him that since he became a grandfather he needs a hosting mentorship which I’m glad to provide! :)

Kai’s are just a smidge wider, and not quite as sharp as a Feather which might work better for Evan! (@MrEE). :)

Joe, the only reason, I’m keeping the VB2 is because it’s NOS. If you can pick up one for $12, I’d say go for it, if it’s in decent shape. They are probably the second best shaver in the C Models. :)

My G shaves more aggressively than my L, but I still prefer the E. I can get a decent close shave with any of them, but it’s effortless with the E.

That’s definitely the safety razor weight class that appeals to me. Thank goodness my RAD has shifted to vintage straights! If it were a year ago, I’d have probably been on the PILS site ordering one! ;)

The J.B.Williams Co. Is now owned by the Combe Co. which acquired them in 2002. Combe is the company behind The ‘Just For Men’ hair coloring products. They are a marketing driven company a nod might be responsive to an appeal from customers!
