    thank you Danny,most of my razors came from the proceeds of selling a bunch of model car kits..other products came from a significant reduction in beer indulgence:D..that and my hotrod is finished..;)

    That’s much of the secret to bowl lathering MWF. One needs to take the time to build the lather! That’s one of my favorite parts of my morning shave. Incredible post skin feel and long term skin conditioning are the reward the example of which I like to refer to as the ‘disappearing weeper’. :)

    Thanks. I used to use the other Wilkinson Classic DE (the black plastic one) exclusively for about 3 years.

    I know you know that I am poking fun at ya. I can pull a nice shave out of the hat every now and then ;) but those Crats are just gorgeous!

    I'm livin' large today. My last haircut was in August, so I received my four-month trim today whether I needed it or not. I didn't like it at first, but it's growing on me. ;) We decided that today was the day since my Bride is feeling better. A chest X-ray yesterday shows that she has pneumonia. We will treat it at home, for the time being, with antibiotics. Our fantastic doc will be calling to check on her every day this week to see if she needs to go the hospital. We pray that she won't, and we sincerely appreciate everyone's prayers.

    After my shearing, I made tracks to the Den for a 2+ pass shave, and I'm near BBS. The Feather blade on its fourth brandishing did OK, but it seemed a skosh rough. Occasionally I will push a DE blade to see if 3 and out is still appropriate. It appears to be, for me anyway, for the time being.

    I called it quits on the Mike's puck and added the remaining bits to a puck of...wait for it...Tabac. :love055: The soap for my next few shaves will therefore be Tabarian Lavac. :happy102: Yes, granny just got home from the florist. The Mike's puck came in a metal tin. The friction fit lid was difficult to open with wet hands, so I was glad to finally trash it.
