Fabulous, Chris! Believe me, there are some of us here, no names mentioned (me!!!) who would welcome a more positive attitude towards our shaving hobby! You're blessed, I was married for 42 years to wife number 1 before I lost her. Working on year 5 with wife number 2. There's a great deal to be said about growing old together! Enjoy your shaves and your day!

i guess the 1kg block is for barbers initially, maybe they kept it in a cool dark place and used it up quickly..

Wonderful birthday shave, Angelo! How do you like the shave on your Toggle compared to your Fatboy? They should be pretty similar! The head design is much the same. Enjoy your day, young man! Stay healthy and safe! I look forward to resuming our breakfasts once this plague is under control. :)

Good morning guys! It's my first shave of the month!

    Shavette Shave #223
    Parker SRB
    Rockwell 1/2 DE Blade (5)
C-Mon Heritage Collection SHD Badger Brush
    Stirling Slice SS and AS

The only decadent thing in this setup is my C-Mon brush because it is the most expensive in my den. Technically, my Semogue is the most expensive, but I only paid 60% of the retail value and was far less expensive than the C-Mon.
It took me long enough, but I finally learned how to use lather hogging brushes. Lol! I wet the face with the brush and squeeze out the excess water. Load the brush without tamping down on the puck so that it has a pasty amount. Paint the lather on the face without too much pressure and add water as needed. Voila! Soap was nowhere near the handle and I had enough soap for 3 passes without squeezing the brush to bring soap to the tips. This brush is my 1A and I just love it. It gave me a nice, typical Stirling lather. Stirling Spice has a wonderful scent and I should use it more often. 2.5 passes gave me a BBS - without any drama or irritation. Liberally splashed on mthe aftershave and I am smelling clean and looking good. Enjoy your day guys! 20201201_223108.jpg

Beautiful picture and a mediocre shave at best! :D

Just kidding Gary.....it was an excellent shave with another purdy razor. Take care!

Thanks Evan....we don't need any snow. If we get one inch on the ground people down here go crazy. It is fun watching them though. :D
