    Good Morning!

    Terrific shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Nearly silent alum.

    First use of MacDuffs Soap Co. Very impressed by the performance. I used my new Dirty Bird scuttle with hot tap water. The soap handled the heat very well. Performance is up there with other top tier artisans. Not sure about the splash though. As of now it feels a bit sticky on my face. I'll need to see how it settles in as the day goes on.

    Good morning gentlemen!

    I decided to have a rare hot water shave today. I have to say it was very soothing to say the least.
    I used the very wet method of lathering which is to rub the very wet brush on my face and forgo squeezing the excess water before loading the soap. Yes, you get that dreaded froth at the start, but I face painted with it and continued to add soap until I got the nice creamy, thin, slick lather. This method is the reverse of just wetting the tips, load, lather and add more water until you get the desired lather.
    As far as Mad Max, he gave me a near BBS shave on 2 passes with minor pickups. There wasn't any errors so it really was an enjoyable shave.
    Decided not to use the witch hazel and aftershave balm. However, I splashed the matching juice and there wasn't any feedback whatsoever.
    Although this ended my double-duty with Mad Max, I decided to continue using Mad Max to finish the month. After all, it is decadent December!
