Thank you, Evan. This would have been unheard of 6 years ago. Today...a cinch. ;)

No, that's not Garfunkel next to Paul Simon.

Outstanding shave lineup, Evan! That is one of the best names for that particular scent dupe. :)

I'm pretty sure that's Steve Rubell, not Paul Simon.

It was kind of cockeyed, my son and grandson's journeys preceded mine, although I did start before my grandson, he became accomplished about a year before I returned to straight shaving. Ben, of course, has been straight shaving for over twenty years. :)

Leave to the Sensei to figure out the SHD! Interestingly enough, the denser the knot, the harder you actually have to work to get the lather down deep in the knot.

:happy088: @Trigger did mention them, so they probably represent some kind of beacon. I was an old married guy in those days with a young family. Trigger was young Travolta! :git:

Thanks for the correction James! Obviously, I am clueless because I never heard of him.

Thanks Maestro! I tend to use a little more water in my brushes because I like a goopy, wet lather. I just decided to cut back on the water and still get my goopy lather, but without the soap going toward the handle.

You're probably spot on, Jim! I was never big on contemporary celebrities.

Lol! The only thing I have in common with John Travolta is that we have the same initials.

Hi Gary, thank you. Y'know, I have to credit the body wash as a fine "pre-shave". I know some are better(like the Stoylin ones), but the "4 Men" ones by Dial, Dove, and Nivea, suit me well.
