That's real weird - I just selected Free Shipping and it took what, 2 days? Yeah got in contact with Amazon and get a shipping refund
I have never had this happen before either which is why it's strange. My last ordered, I chose standard shipping, and it got shipped USPS Express 1 day.
I have few pet-peeves in shaving, but a razor that doesn't blade align is one of them. Regardless of experience, who wants to spend time aligning the blade? Do we have check that the tires are pointed forward before we start the car? Do we have to check to make sure the jelly donut has jelly in it before we take a bite? Sorry, got a little carried away. Received the DeFitch today. Initial impressions: Agree with @ShaneS - it's a huge improvement over the earlier razor. It's very, very shiny - almost mirror like and have a nice weight to it. I haven't put a blade in it yet but will post a shave report come Monday at the latest. Here are some snaps right out of the box. The below is maybe more of interest if you bought the first version of the DeFitch razor: The old version to the LEFT and this new offering on the RIGHT: - As you see a number of differences, shorter, stockier handle with improved knurling but maybe most importantly a head that is not warped to the point where it's scary to even pick it up Maybe the most telling photo as far improvements from v1.0 to v2.0. I'll let you guess which set is which So all looks good so far. Actually better than good - I'm rather impressed by the plating and feel of the razor in my hand. The real test will, for me, come tomorrow or Monday morning when I load a blade in it and takes it for a spin....
Mine came in an unmarked black cardboard box. The money clearly went into the razor this time which is a good thing.
I purchased one, but with the speed of my Amazon Prime shipments, I don't expect it for weeks, expected delivery Dec. 23.
Amazon doesn't ship anything to me within the 3 day guarantee. If I order something for myself it takes weeks. I am still waiting on a quadcopter I ordered in August. If my wife makes an order, she has it in 2 days. If there is something for me included, they split the shipment and her item arrives in 2 days and mine is lost in the mail. When I complain, I am told that the guarantee isn't a guarantee as much as a suggested arrival time. Its just the way I roll with Amazon.
Your wife probably has a secret arrangement with Amazon just to mess with you. Wives can be like that.
Maybe... but surely she is tired of listening to me "drone" on and on about the never arriving quadcopter and other stuff that gets the Amazon delay.
