It’s on a well known auction site right now and is going for an astronomical sum. It’s a single ring sterling silver 1906 Gillette. Granted the seller is open to offers, but I can only guess what his bottom line might be. There’s 51 people “watching” it! Mods, I understand if this post is not permissible, so I get it if it must be taken down. However, it does appear to be an historical razor and worthy of discussion.

I’m just watching and will likely will not be embarrassing anyone with a low ball offer. I also bet it shaves just like any other Gillette.
I equate that razor to the num-nut with the $1,500 Wolfman. I am more tempted to send them my address for a sample of whatever drugs they are taking than seeing if someone has more money than sense. To bad he doesn't have the case, he might get an extra $2,500 for it.
A couple of things with the razor in the photo bother me. First of all no pic or mention of a serial number, the @mr-razor example has this on the barrel. Second, the blade posts don't come to a sharp point like every other OT. Perhaps I'm just being nitpicky. If it truly is genuine and authentic, it will get sold.
I couldn't resist. I almost pulled the trigger but realized my account was just alittle short ($7200) this month.
