Do aftershaves dry your skin out?

    I do not use any aftershave that has alcohol only witch hazel and aloe followed by an organic moisturizer

    I've been taking a break from my aftershaves. The only thing I use right now is Witch Hazel (cheap store bought stuff). I like the tightening of my skin once it dries and it leaves my face and neck really smooth.

    Tight? Sometimes. Dry? Nope, not that I've noticed. And some of my very old ones have no glycerin in them that I'm aware of.

    Really just depends on your skin. For me an AS doesn't dry my skin, but then again I use Witch Hazel first, followed by a home made balm (50/50 coconut oil and unrefined Shea butter), then I will apply an AS.
