I rearranged my travel kit so I will have to add pics of it later. I am going on a six week road trip across the US so I will doing a lot of shaving in truck stops and by the side of the road.

I picked up a Trac II handle as part of a set on ebay, which I plan to make my travel razor. I will also be purchasing a soap sample set (nice accidental alliteration, if I say so myself!) from TSD, and most likely the least-favorites will be travel soap. Any other ideas for a kit would be appreciated.

No point in putting your "least favorites" in your travel kit. You may as well include them in your rotation at home so that you can get rid of them faster. Put something you really like in your travel kit.

Yes and no I suppose. Because the only place that we go to is our lakeside cottage. So, I have assembled a nook for each location.

In coming back from my trip to Alaska, I used my Sensor Excel for the two weeks, and found myself getting a close shave on only two passes. It does not replace my Mergress razor, and come to think of it I packed my shave kit in the suitcase, so could've brought it instead - but my real point is the old Gillette twin blade did a good job and is now in the rotation...If my wife allows me...since it's now hers! :D

I also use the Gillette Sensor for travelling, with some kind of Personna replacement blades, together with Ingram shaving cream, Muhle badger brush and a simple After Shave (mostly ex-GDR's Tüff or Musgo).
