Do you have any unusual wet shaving habits?

I belong to TSD, isn't that weird enough?!

 

Your Avatar says it all. Mine is kind of boring.

 

The sink in my "man's" bathroom only gets used for shaving and I clean and dry it after every shave. If I want to wash my hands or brush my teeth I use the laundry room utility sink in the next room.
I think that habit started a few years ago when we remodeled my bathroom and I didn't have a sink for awhile and was forced to use the utility sink. I probably stayed with the habit of washing my hands in the bigger sink since the bathroom sink is small and it's hard to scrub up to your elbows. Why I brush my teeth in the larger sink and not in the bathroom must have some subconscious reason that I've yet to identify.

The only other weird thing that comes to mind is my habit of saving the boxes that my shaving products come in. I suppose that's like saving the cigar box after you've smoked all the cigars.

During my post shave routine, I do BIG splashes of cold water on my face, so big I get water all over the countertop and onto the floor. I can't help it.

 

I shave at my kitchen sink.The extra deep double bowl sink gives me plenty of splashing room. It's the closest faucet to the water heater so hot water comes fast and full pressure. An older home, built in 1942, and the sink faces an interior wall. So I hung a mirror with a shelf behind the faucet. When I remodeled it several years ago I kept the period light fixture. A frosted glass cover now houses a very bright CFL bulb. One of the cabinets, over the microwave cart, has become my storage area for shaving supplies. Top of the cart is where I display my gear I'm currently using.
Did I mention no SWMBO to tell me I'm doing it wrong?

I watched a video of Williams Shaving Mug Soap, and halfway through it, the guy said "So far, I'm disappointed with this soap". Wrong guy for THAT video!!
