I don't think 15 is anything more than grey/silver colored celluloid or bakelite. I'm going with # 16 only because a lot of the Sheffield blade makers put out Americana motifs to sell here, so 16 might be a higher end Sheffield blade, maybe a nicer W & B? But that is strictly a guess. I'm certainly no expert! Not even close.

Bill, nice shot as usual. :1respect

Too much candy for me. But, I do like 14 cuz it's got a bug on it. 13 looks purdy too.

Welcome to The Shave Den, goatshaver!

    I'll guess #13, cause I like "unlucky" numbers. That's just how I is. ;)

Besides, if I look too closely at the picture, somebody's gonna yell at me.

#16, just because I like it! Something about an eagle rings a bell.

#15 has aluminum scales and is worth somewhere around $375+. I got it about a year ago. There are several others in the pile worth more than that.

As far as painting. If they have at least 60% original color on them, don't paint. You will lose value. I have used acrylic paints to restore some, but not with the intent of the razor being used and getting wet. I'm not sure if getting the razor wet all the time will make the paint peel. Maybe an oil based paint would be more durable. Here is one that I painted...

I do not have a clue which one is more valuable, but 4, 7, 9, and 13 are my favorites.

I would have said #15 before Bill's post now I have to go with #7 or #9

7 just to see more of the nude on the handle..What detail!
I'll say #1 just cause it has more colors than the others and looks well preserved

I have to agree on this. As much as I like a nice razor, I prefer clean lines on the scales.
