I have 2 USSR era DE razors Open Comb,heavy,aggressive and i like them. In the parcel were some vintage blades,the letters of course were in Cyrillic something like "lenin" I didn't use them,i have them in my cabinet together with some other Gillette vintage blades. It's not a Russian,it's an Ukraine soldier His way for finish touch in shaving.
These were the most common carbon steel blades in the USSR. They were made in what is now St Petersburg and called "Neva". That's the river the city stands on. The Ukrainian solder would get better shave with a BIC disposable lighter.
