Technique matters .
That's it with me, too. The jawline commands extra care too(for me).
So, what I'm taking from the responses here, is that this is yet another case of YMMV.
Isn't everything related to shaving YMMV?
I think that depends...
A lot of folks make out that way when really it isn't.
i would say everyone has their preference..
Speed is part of technique.
I saw what you did there.
Only if you are in a hurry.
Not true. The faster the blade hits the hair, the more likely it is to cut straight through. It's the same principle the impact wrench is based on.
How fast it needs to be for a clean cut varies from one individual to another, as does their ability to keep the razor and blade under control.
Watch a professional. He's not trying to be fast. I agree with Steve.
That razor edge appears to be moving fast to me. A lot of quick, short strokes. Other than that, we'll just have to agree to disagree.
Of course, no problem. I’ve watched that video many times and learned much.
Never really thought about it but the speed of my razor depends on what part of the face I'm shaving.
Shaving speed is like sex. There's a right speed and a wrong speed...and it's different for everyone.
That sounded much wittier in my head. Clicks "post reply" anyways.
You said it all. Different (Shaving) strokes for different folks.
I tend to shave fast but I’m also very careful.
