Does your face build up a tolerance to menthol?

    I don't know if it is desensitization or adaptation, but my response to menthol has transitioned from endurance to great enjoyment to desperate need.

    I don't think the formula changed but more my response to it. It is the strongest purchased mentholated product I have and I can feel the cooling effect but it isn't near as strong as it was but my eyes still water due to it.

    Not sure probably the same amount of cool but I have wintergreen and it’s almost unbearable. I tried cryogen this evening and while I think it’s a great soft soap wasn’t near as cold as glacial. Doubt you’ll get used to it I haven’t yet but I love it. The glacial after shave that’s a different story it truly is unbearable I have the matching Wintergreen it’s like your face is on fire not exaggerating.
