You could have monetized your gear via online auctions or WTS listings. You could have donated it to a charity or some other unknown persons. Thank you for "keeping it in the family" where your gear will be used and appreciated. You, Sir, are a Prince among men. Congrats to the winners, and those to come!
Thank you so much. In the interest of full disclosure, I have auctioned and sold several items, and will do so with a few more. But everyone on TSD is so kind and generous, I enjoy paying it forward. I've never met a greater group of people.
