*DONE* Gillette Super Speed PIF

I would love to be a part of this... I have always wanted to try one of these gillettes! please count me in

 

As I have found myself a 1950's flare-tip Rocket - which is a Super Speed, isn't it? - I guess you'll have to count me out. Thanks anyway for the idea and the PIF, Wyatt & Regan! Best of luck!

 

Hey guys. Sorry I disappeared for a while. I got real sick for a few weeks. Plus sometimes life just flys by you know? So, anyhow. I have to say that the Edwin Jagger that I purchased is my favorite razor so far. It was very nice getting to try the Gillette, but its time to send it on. So where does it go next?

 

I will take great care of it and pass it on in a month or two, if selected.

I'll give it go, if this I still making the rounds. Just got my first DE. Its a Merkur Progress, used it twice, afraid to dial up past 2.5, only used the Mekur blade that came with it.
I had toiled between vintage and new before I purchased. Since I don't know what to look for in vintage, I just went with new. Would love to try a Gillette.

(Canada and U.S.A so far) and on its way to Pittsburgh now
The razor has been in circulation for almost a year since Regan and myself started the traveling PIF.

I realize newbie wetshavers will not have a lot of gear, but do try to ad something to the package when you
pass it off to the next shaver, a few blades...a chunk or squeeze of shave soap or even something that is specific
to the area you are from, there is no limit to what you include in the PIF.
If you cant...


But seriously, if you cant just enclose your "Best Wishes"

Please Sir's , do remember to always sterilize a new - used vintage razor before using it, I am sure none of our members have worms but for your own piece of mind do so.

Hi, I think it came in today (according to the Mrs.). How do I sterilize it? Is rubbing alcohol good enough?

Edited: Wow, thanks!! It did arrive and I am looking forward to using it. There were also 60 or so blades, some in packs and a big stack of loose blades! Thank you again!!

Unfortunately it may be a dead issue - Vibroluxer hasn't been heard of since May.
