Somewhere on this board is a long thread about a pass around razor, which is the same model as the one on the left.

I haven't seen that thread so I can't confirm nor deny that. Nor would I, of course. The hunt is all part of the fun!

By the way, you can submit more than once. But....resubmitting changes your answer to the new one. So, if you have the right answer already and you change it to something else, you won't win even though you had it right the first time. Now I'm sure some of you are wondering....has anyone been correct yet? Well........................perhaps, perhaps not. Does that help? :angry019: Yeah, that's what I thought. LOL

Oh hey, sorry.....I quoted the wrong person in that post. Sheesh!!! Too many sleepless nights. It was the fact that the Weishi and the mystery are not the same...I was trying to quote @Mr. Shaverman

RiMei (or Ri,Mei if you go by the spelling on the blister pack these come in) and a Yuma.

Well if you know the answer throw it out there my friend. You may......or may not.......be the first to get it right.

Any chance we can see another angle on the razor on the right... Like the top of the top cap? I can't tell if there is a logo there or any distinguishing marks. And that may change my answer.

Changing my answer. Ri,Mei and a Merkur 42C.

Though if you've doctored the photo on the right to obscure a logo or there is a logo not otherwise visible in this photo... I'd say a Yuma because it has a slightly different open comb design than the Merkur.

So. Changing my answer to Ri,Mei and Merkur 42C until I have more info. Final answer. For now. :)

Oh, and specifically that one in the left is the higher-quality RiMei RM2003, not the cheaper one sometimes sold as a RM2001 or a JunJie.

I take back this post. I enlarged the photo on my computer and the expected logo on the head isn't there.

Final answer. (Or, at least until I find someone else's coattails to ride.)

LOL Nothing wrong with borrowing knowledge. Sometimes it helps......sometimes it doesn't.

I may have to defer that answer to @HolyRollah for confirmation of the Trple Duck family of fine shaving and cutting implements.

I have not doctored the photos in any way. What you see is what you've got.

    Then I'm certain.

(though in saying that, I'm reminded of the saying - which I am probably poorly paraphrasing - that "it's not what you don't know that gets you in trouble -- it's the stuff you are sure of.")

By the way, the RiMei 2003 is actually my favorite of the cheap imported DE razors. I like mine better than my MTO/Weishi 9306C. And it's a nicer build than its cheaper siblings (the 2001/2002 models or the JunJie "hot men" razor).
