I feel mass is the space something uses/occupies, whereas weight is a comparison to other known objects.
lastly my brothers bristles may be one of my favs.
My memory may be going bad, i remember the song in high school (grad 82) but the link said it came out in 85? Someone is wrong.

By the way, the whole mass vs weight thing has something to do with why light beer and regular beer weigh the same.

 

Ok here goes-Mass is a measure of space taken up or filled; weight is a measure of pressure exerted as a result of density within defined or confined parameters. An object can take up a large area without being “ heavy”in relation to its mass ( a cloud for instance) . An object can be “heavy” in relation to its mass without taking up much space ( a lead cube for instance).
