I'm in, I don't think I have ever when over, I have only been wet shaving for less than a year but I have a conservative one razor, one shave mug and a brush, currently two soaps I am using and 3 after shave type products.

I am in please. I guess my rad kicked in when I picked up a lady Gillette for my wife so that I could get her into wet shaving too.

Between March 12th and March 25th I spent 400 bucks on razors and blades from eBay. Not surprising in itself but considering nothing was over 30 bucks.... well my wife is gonna kill me if the stuff from this past weekend all hit at one time...

I'm in as well. I just dropped $45 this morning getting a new brush and a cream sampler from the TSD store.

I can see that I will be doing a fairly large PIF or two in the near future as I sort out my preferences. Thanks for doing this!

Update: Since we're getting close to the end date for this PIF, please check the list in the original post and make sure your name's there. I don't want to miss anyone. Thanks. In other news: I can't find a Cow-Pie Bingo event this weekend, so I may have to use another option to choose the winners. Sorry.

I'm in, Thank you! When I got tired of paying so much for carts I went to electric and had major irritation. When my Dad passed away my Mom asked me if I wanted his old razor ( a 64 slim ) and I said yes. I hated it at first and gradually after watching some YouTube videos I got the hang of it. Now 8 soaps and 5 brushes later I really enjoy shaving.

I'm in. When I first started, 3 months ago, I went to Walmart, Target, and every pharmacy I could find and bought a tube of every shave cream they carried. I even bought things I had heard bad reviews on just so I could try them out myself. I ended up with a bunch of garbage creams and Kiss My face Cream wich I loved. Then Two weeks later I switched to soaps and picked a 4 up online. Luckily I converted a buddy who likes creams and gave the creams away.

I started wet shaving about two or three months ago and since then I've acquired four razor, seven creams, three soaps, a ton of blades, and four scuttles. Not much, but it's a start.

I'm in My disorder began when I went into the Ralph's grocery store and bought all of the VDH Deluxe Shaving Soap and all of the Williams Shaving Mug Soap that they had. They were on close out. I guess I have enough to last until 2020 {I hope not} might do my own PIF.

One last update: This PIF ends tomorrow. I'm going on a hunt for razors and pie birds in Lancaster, PA, so I'll be away from my computer most of the day. (No, I don't own a smart phone yet.) Anyone interested has until 4 PM EST tomorrow to enter. Good luck, everyone!

    What's a pie bird?

Pie birds . . . or pie vents . . . are what my wife collects. When making a pie, old-timey ladies would lay down the first crust, put in the filling, stand up a pie bird in the middle of the pie, and place the second crust over top of it. The bird vented the steam, which kept the pie from bubbling over, and also helped the crust become flaky. Most of them were made to look like birds (The best book on the topic is called "Four and Twenty Black Birds") but we've found them in the shape of Santa Clause, Fred Flintstone, a bison (my college mascot), etc. They're still made, but Linda collects antiques.

Neat. I'd love to see the Fred Flinstone.

That's pretty cool. I've never heard of a pie bird.

My wife uses those as well. Very nice concept.

I have never heard of these, ever, and I am not unfamiliar with a variety of oddball kitchen equipment. You do realize that by posting a picture to so many people with AD that you are going to cause the price to quadruple on eBay which will upset your wife. I have bids on 12 now. muahahahahaha (kidding...maybe)

Too late. Apparently, Martha Stewart did a four-page spread on her collection in one of her magazines during the last year. Thousands started collecting. They won't last, though. I call it the "A River Runs Through It" effect. :)
