Well, I gave it a try this morning. I had trouble getting a decent lather; very foamy. However, I'm still new at this wet shaving thing, so it's likely to be user error as much as anything. I checked out a couple of other threads about this soap this evening, and it looks like I need to try less and only warm water to make it work. I'll give it another try in a few days (taking the weekend off from shaving).

 

I had similar results as you. Airy, foamy, disappears quickly. IMH the recipe needs to be tweaked a little for this stuff to really become a worth while product. It has a good story already and novelty appeal with the old recipe and all.
