Drying brushes

    Rinse, shake a few times, hang handle up. I rotate mostly two, sometimes three, brushes.

    I just shake the brush a few times to get the water out of the knot. That will not damage the knot unless the brush is poorly manufactured. Then again, I have seen a couple of other forums that recommended putting brushes in boiling water to disinfect them. That will definitely damage the brush, which goes to show you can't believe everything you read on the forums.

    Rinse, shake, air-dry. I don’t think shaking a little water out should hurt it, unless you’ve hired The Incredible Hulk to shake out the brush for you.
