Ebay auction: Gold Aristocrat UK Version **Closed**

I thought this will be fun seeing how high it ends. a very lovely looking razor I have one in silver ,Gold is not really my game but Im sure someone will GET HURT over this ! :drool on top its a great shaver I hope it won't end up in some collectors closet what a shame...

For the Record it is NOT MY RAZOR. just bumped into it by accident.

I was thinking perhaps the FS: tagline is a bit confusing. and I should change the title to " Ebay Auction : Rare SALE of gold Aristocrat razor UK Style ?

if so please any mod feel free to change the title.

Man that's a beaut. Too rich for my blood unfortunately. Would love to own a #66 though, that's for sure.

 

So what is the scoop on a #66. I'm clueless when it comes to the collectible Gillettes.

 

It's not quite in the 195 category, but it's damned close!

 

There are 3 versions or 4 basics are.

There were/are UK /US versions.

The difference is the UK models have a SOLID knob and the US hollow which renders in a much better balance /heavy feeling for the UK model.

Then there is the difference of Silver and or Gold versions. the Gold being extreme RARE to find.

It's my favorite shaver not cuz its rare simply a great shave everytime
that said I have never seen a US model posted so that one might be even more rare.

Sometimes people dont know what they have in their hands and you can be extreme lucky with Ebay. I let such an auction go one time.. :mad: Dragonboy for example found one. I''ll spare you what he paid for the silver aristocrat.

 

I am the lucky one.. He He.. But I knew perfectly well what I was buying.. Mine wasnt mint though..
