After a recent closeup of my first vintage brush I noticed the name Titterton London on the handle. Found an advertisement from Kelly's directory of chemists 1855 showing Titterton and Howard brush company.
Here is my brush with a new badger knot. The main body comes in two parts and screws together to form a tight handle. This made it easy to secure knot from bottom.
Interested to find more details on company and the this SS 347 model and year.

I have never heard of them, but that is definitely an awesome old piece of butterscotch.
