A group collaboration! Dale did the razor, Dragos did the green glow around the razor and I did the text since I found out I had the Star Wars font on my PC!
Took photos of a herd of buffalo while on a fishing trip. They were content to mind their own business, but they had the power to pulverize me if I had provoked them.
I took a picture of my six month old Basset hound (not that you can really tell he's a basset from the photo). It seemed like a good idea at the time.
Very cool. One of these days I'm going to get to see a buffalo live and in person... Very good idea! He's a cute little fella! I always did like the hounds.
While I have not really had the chance to see a buffalo up close, I have eaten one and it was quite tasty. My puppy is cute most of the time, but he's in the I want to tear everything up stage and doesn't like to listen to my wife. I've never had a dog so independent and clingy at the same time, he follows me EVERYWHERE! Laying ON my feet as we speak.
Since you're talking about Buffalo, I'll share a little story. I lived for the majority of my childhood in South Dakota. One time while driving through Custer State Park, we drove up to a bridge with a Buffalo on the other side. The Buffalo saw the car and stepped to the side of the road. After waiting to make sure it wouldn't decide to cross, I slow crossed over the bridge. As soon as I was across, the Buffalo took his turn and crossed the other way. I'm not positive, but I think it was imitating the action it saw from the cars.
And they can be one nasty animal if they want to. Short story about Buffalo. Back in 1982 I had just purchased a new VW Rabbit and took my kids to Wild Life Safari outside of Dallas. While driving very slow in traffic through the section that had buffalo, two of them decided to get in to a fight just outside of my car. When we left the park, the left side of my VW looked like it had been hit by a freight train. The insurance company totaled the car and I got another.
I ran franchised operations for a large franchised operator and liked sodapopjones' name so I picked one of the soft drinks we represented before being sold out many years ago.
Makes you wonder if their intelligence has advanced sufficient enough to be aware how tasty they are? Hope not
Robert the Doll One of the creepiest things I could think of. I'm trying to keep the whole creepy/freaky avatar motif.
I think the monkey was scarier. Even more scary than the old photo of my great great grandmother sitting in a straight back chair with the severe look and the eyes that watch you wherever you went. I wish I had a copy to show people, but when I stayed at my grandparents I always had to turn that picture around to face the wall.
My new avatar it the liverbird emblem from LFC against THE PAISLY GATES which are out side Anfield(Liverpools ground)
I like cats. And while this cat appears to be out of control falling, I deem this cat is in total control enjoying a ride in a simulated skydiving machine.
They don't all like cats. I had a woman buying a car from me, she walks in my house sees my cat, and runs right out of the house screaming bloody murder. Scared of cats apparently. Never seen nor heard of such a thing. It was quite humorous. The cat just sitting there, as cats are known to do, with that bored expression, and this woman running away screaming.
Must have been an exeption to the rule then, I guess........... All womed I've met all seem to adore cats - most of them have 2-3 in their home. I'm not a huge fan of cats TBH I'm also allergic to them soooo........not my preferred pet
