My favorite face wash for adult oily skin (I get it too, to a lesser degree) is Aveeno foaming face wash.

Any opinion on Every Man Jack Pre Shave Face Wash (fragrance free)? I use it as a daily face wash in the shower, even when not shaving. Not sure if I should continue, now that I have switched to DE shaving and all the new products.

Interesting. Just bought the EMJ last night when I was at the store. Thought I'd try it in place of the preshave that I make up. Will let you know what I think today.

The real shave company has two face washes. One for exfoliating and a creamy face wash. They don't smell the best but are priced good and can be had locally.

Never really used any face wash, with the exception of shaving stuff only thing I use on my face is ordinary bar soap and lip balm when it gets below 0 degrees in the winter when my lips crack

Sometimes i wash my face with an Aleppo soap. It´s smells not as nice as some other soap bar´s does but it is ok.Normally i clean my face only with hot and cold water. The first splash is hot water and after it the cool splash.Very refreshing.:bounce015:

Because of my sensitive skin i can´t use every product out there.I tried a few but after using most of them my face has red spot´s and has been itchy.

    I´m a little weirdo :happy093:

I heared a lot of glycerin soaps but never tried one...I passed the time Proraso had one...this soap should be very good.Do you feel a difference between using the glycerin soap or washing / rinsing the face with hot water?Does it give you more cushion or does the razor glide better?

I just rinse the soap off lightly then lather over it, It's slick when I apply the lather. Sometimes I use Proraso pre-shave instead, but I always wash my face with the glycerin soap before applying the preshave. The glycerin soap just feels slicker and is less drying than a bath soap.

I started using it because Leisureguy recommended it in his book then discovered I liked it. He recommends the Musgo Real Glyce Lime Oil soap as a pre-shave soap, with others as alternates. I use the Whole Foods 365 brand because there's a Whole Foods store about a mile from me.

I have good results with just lathering my whole face and neck after I'm done shaving with what's left over in my shave brush. The brush also gives some gentle exfoliation as a bonus.

Any glycerin soap. I use Musgo Real Glyce Lime as shave prep and at night before I go to bed. Sometimes I use my Speick.

Clearly Natural Aloe: $1 at Dollar Tree. It's a melt and pour type soap and works great as a pre shave soap.

Anthony for Men Glycolic face wash is excellent, doesn't dry the skin while combating oiliness.

My wife bought this for me for Christmas, as part of the Anthony Logistics "Perfect Shave" systems, and I have to agree, this stuff is excellent. It's the best face wash I've tried.

If you suffer with oily/combination sking I can also recommend their clay face mask.

5-10 mins twice a week and all visible blackheads/open pores are gone, it's really good stuff.

It's pretty strong so I don't use it but once or twice a week. If you find something that you really love please let me know. I'd like to find something that I could use every night.

At 42, I still have combination skin that can tend toward acne if I'm not careful, while still dry and flaking around the nostrils. As such, I find Neutrogena's Deep Clean Gentle Scrub once or twice a week works pretty well to balance things out and avoid both issues. You have to be okay with the apricot scent, though.
