TSD is good for opinions, advice, even actual information. It's up to the consumer to decide what is which. Sometimes that requires putting a blade to your face. Good news is vintage brass has a good resale value if rescued from the wild. Tapatalk Spam Tag
I like and use both as they both perform great for me. But I do have a slight preference for the Fatboy because of it's weight and shorter handle,
Oh what the heck, too hard to decide just get a Gibbs and call it a day. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
In 2001 I bought a 1996 Nissan truck ... I hated it. Happiest day of my ownership was the day I sold it. I bought a 2000 Chevy S10 in 2005. I thoroughly enjoyed it for 10 years before I carelessly blew the head gasket; then I sold it to another gentleman that had an engine to drop in it. I would have done it myself except I had plans of moving to Africa. This all said ... I first started on a Slim and used it exclusively for a year and a half ... just never came to really enjoy it .... sold it. I won't part with my Fat Boy.
If you like the Slim and the BB you should be most pleased with the Parker. A great razor at an affordable price. Out of over 100 razors it’s in my top ten.
What about an adjustable Krona or Toggle? Don't forget about the Le Coq, which is right on par with the Gibbs.
