Favorite Razor Blades

Havent tried too too many, but:
Feathers
Astra SP
Shark
Blue Israeli Personna

 

Im usin derby's as im new myself, ive got some feathers to try but workin my way up to them maybe next month!

 

I started with feathers for my first shave... I've tried Derbys but they feel like they're trying to pull my hair out.

The Gillette 7oclock blades are another one I like pretty well

I like drug store brands for a double edge. $6 for ten, and more importantly, made in USA.

 

If you're interested in made in the USA and want higher quality than the drug store brand at half the cost, try the personna lab blades. Quality rivals Feather in sharpness, but last twice as long for many people.

OK, I'm sorry.

The first time I read through this thread I thought, "Blades is blades, the only difference is how long they stay sharp." Just a bunch of blade snobs name dropping. $1.79 Wilkinson’s are just fine.

Well I used a feather this morning and slap me around and call me Susan if there isn't a difference! Now I have to go back over this thread and order some samplers.

BTW The Wally World Wilkinson’s are worth $1.79.

 

waiting for the vosky's i've been using all kind of blades i have laying around. forcing me to use my loose stock. yellow's are nice as are the red's. derby's i bought as a newbie and haven't gone back to them much.
