I would say that a sugar & caffeine free Coke kinda defeats the purpose of having a Coke. But yeah, I will take a good old Coca Cola anytime. Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
We went to Cracker Barrel the other day. Pick up a bottle of Moxie out of curiosity, because of @PLANofMAN . Haven't opened it yet.
We go to Cracker Barrel often and I've seen all those old-time soda brands they have. I wonder how they fare against the old originals in taste, etc.? If you have had Moxie before, shoot us a comparison after you're tried it?
Nope, banana peppers and your standard green and red peppers are as hot as I go. Moxie: really nice root beer/sarsaparilla smell. Flavor matches smell for about 1.5 seconds. Then taste becomes herbal and medicinal and not particularly cola like. But not overly sweet, that was a suprise. A negative review described it as carbonated car tire. I wouldn't go that far but it does have an odd aftertaste. Not unpleasant, just odd. Curiousity satisfied, I dumped out half the bottle. Can't say I hate it but I wouldn't buy it again.
Nice to see a kid with some moxie around here. Note; if you're under 90 years old you may not get the joke. Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
I was wrong about him. Please disregard my previous statement. You sir have no Moxie! Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
To be honest I have never tried it, only because anyone that did has never seemed to recommend it. I guess it's an aquired taste. Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
I used to love drinking RC cola in grade school but then it kind of became hard to find in my area. Probably prefer Coke over Pepsi, but I can't forget that I love Root Beer as well- A&W, used to drink something called Mug.
I've had that too. It's pretty good. If I remember correctly, it tastes like a cross between Coke and Pepsi. A sweeter Coke. Very similar to Pepsi 1893. It's been a few years, so my memory might be off a bit.
