If anyone would ever ask if I cared for photos of shaving gear, till now, I wouldn't have cared less. All my experiences to recent history has been in advertisements. your photos put them to shame and are truly beautiful. I look forward to seeing them each day. thanks for putting in all the effort in making them.

Thank you Frank for the kind words. At this point, I can get consistently very good to excellent shaves. The photos give me something to work on and learn some new skills. I still have much to learn and improve with photography but I am having a great time trying.

Last day of the humble Tech focus. Nice shave this morning. Took the picture before I shaved, but didn't use the balm as I was smelling the great scented soap and didn't need any extra. This is the one scent I have that my wife and I completely disagree on...it has become one of my absolute favourites and continues to be her only 'how do i get this smell out of my throat' scent. Oh well.
My focus for this month had been to use 2 of my vintages-40s SS and Tech, with the same 3 blade choices, rotating through 3 soaps- Stirling, Tcheon Fung Sing and Soap Commander. What did I learn? If I had to choose one blade in my 40s SS, it would definitely be the Astra SP, the other 2 were not even that close. The Tech is a different story. At this point in time, I would say Voskhod and Polsilver ahead of the Astra. All were very good, though.
For March, I will pull out 2 other vintages- a Birth year SA and a Canadian Old Type I picked up for 10 bucks at a 2nd hand store a few weeks ago, and do a similar focus. Will use the same 3 blades, plus my Sharp Stars if they get here in time. I'll change up a few of the soaps for variety.
I won't be able to start until Thursday, as I'm travelling for work the next few days and will use my travel set-up.

What a group of beautiful pictures, Clint. I take pictures of my shaving gear, you take photographs that happen to have shaving gear in them... it looks like someone can reach through the screen and grab one of those amazing razors.

The photos for the week were taken with an iPhone 7+ and edited on the phone with the Apple tools. @Boojum1 told me to give the iPhone a try since that is what he primarily uses. I must say I am pretty happy with the results this week. If my back ever allows me to indulge myself with regular motorcycle rides the photo quality will certainly drop down.

AoS Oud Suede Cologne
I've been enjoying using easy soft soaps and creams this month and all my AoS creams have resulted in very easy good lathers. I took 2 passes today WTG & XTG for a near BBS. My face is still soft from the aftershave balm and I smell very Oudy and Suedey from this nice cologne. I hope everyone had a great Feb Focus. Now to figure out what I'm doing form March.

I shaved worth this setup four days in a row to determine if the new RazoRock Super formula(containing Shea butter, lanolin, and argon oil) could compete with the artisans. Short answer yes. This soap was as good as Stirling and Route 66 in all categories except post shave feel. Although post shave on the Don Marco was very good, it was still edged out by the artisans by the slimmest of margins.
