    NCoxSTL AAACK!

I have some Stirling samples arriving tomorrow so I can give it a shot on them when it arrives as well.
    Don't forget malarky.

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought it had something to do with the price of gas in France.

The Krona is a very nice mild razor and doesn't get enough love. But, that was always the life of a Schick razor, other than the injectors. I'll say it's 80/20 in favor of the Voskhod creating that great shave. Ok, ok, so maybe not that lopsided. Just a shot I had to take.

I know. At first I didn't know if it was that 108 racing gas or what.

I get better shaves from my Injector/AC blades than I do from DE blades. I do like DE shavettes a lot though. I've not met many DE blades that don't work well in a shavette.

Not sure if it's the continuous clamping along the whole length of the blade, so close to the edge, or what. The relatively short blade exposure so firmly clamped gives it more rigidity than the flex of a DE head? Either way, I agree. I'm not sure I could tell the difference between any of the blades I keep around.

Well, I plan to run a GSB in the Krona today followed by a Topaz Platinum tomorrow, which will give me a pretty good idea how much is the blade and how much the razor. And then I will repeat the three blades in the Fatip Grande and then the Fatboy for a control. Should be interesting...

This week is moving along very quickly. Great shaves are nearly automatic with this setup. The D01 whips up the lather while providing a wonderful scrub. I am enjoying the Vetyver scent of the MdC. A smooth irritation free two pass shave with minimal clean up followed by a splash of Fine Fresh Vetiver and I am ready for some more tax returns. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

    Stirling Synthetic Brush
    Stubble Trubble SS
    Merkur Futur
    Stirling Unscented PSB
    Aqua Velva AS

I stayed at setting 5 today, but did change the blade to a Gillette Platinum Plus. I managed 10 shaves out of the Voskhod I started with, but it was definitely time to change. Today's shave was very smooth, and the Stubble Trubble definitely helped with that. I find that Stubble Trubble, Stirling, and Route 66 soaps are among my favorites with a few others thrown in. It did two passes, just a little clean up and ended with a DFS. I capped it with a little Aqua Velva, and am heading out the door to start my day. I hope everyone has a great day!
