Thanks, Gentlemen! I have two wonderful girls. Going to a dance at their new school and seeing the friends they are making and the choices they are beginning to make for themselves makes me a very proud dad.

Thank you, Charlie! You're also doing very well with the Parker! How long do you intend to continue with it? For me, I'm undecided. Honestly, I didn't know if I'd make it 30 days. It's way more enjoyable than expected for me, and as a result, I can't seem to put it down. :)
I hope all is well with you and your bride!

Alphabetical journey through soaps and creams
    Letter W (last alphabetical shave)

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: vintage Gillette Platinum Plus
    Razor: Schick G5
Brush: Ever Ready 100T restored badger
    Soap: Wilkinson Sword stick
Post: Witch hazel, RazoRock Blue Barbershop aftershave

Last alphabetical soap with Wilkinson Sword. Good, workable soap. Not outstanding but certainly gets the job done. The G5 was terrific as expected and the Blue Barbershop has become one of my favorite scents. Good shave all around.

@BaylorGator - wonderful picture of you and your daughter! Hope the dance was fun.

Got home last night at 11:00 after a 16 hour day. Back up early to go back to school. Our event wraps up this afternoon. It's been fun but I'll sure be happy to slow down some tonight.

I hope to post some thoughts about my alphabetical soap journey today or tomorrow. It was a lot of fun to go through everything as well as eye opening. Too much soap - I could shave for years with all this stuff! But I'll post some thoughts later on.

    Have a great day!

It's a good one indeed. While I don't usually consider soaps/aftershaves to be seasonal, this one is an exception. Something just seems to be off smelling like evergreen in the summer months. Aside from that, it's very enjoyable - and my wife picked this one out at the Maggard's Meet last year. She sniffed it and said "You have to buy this one". Sold.
The performance isn't too shabby either. The post-shave feel (and longevity of the scent) is the real star of the show with this one. Think I might use it again today. :)

    Best to date.
    Great lather from the Stirling.
Mondial is my absolute best boar ever.

This Boker is my edge and it really delivered.
(Cue Music) "I could have passed all night...I could have passed all night and still come back for more..."
Plug nickel for the one who knows to what song I am referring.
Extra points for the show, composer AND lyricist.
Super extra points IF you can name the Broadway star, Movie star AND who really sang the song.
    Moving on...

Thanks to Andrew, I got three great shaves from the Stirling sample he provided me. :thanks:
Stirling is a great soap. Period. Should be even more popular.
Approaching BBS territory on my neck. It's not my goal, but I will accept it if it's in the cards.
The razor has nice scales. The size of the blade is good. I haven't tried a monster blade, nor a
    curved blade. That'll come.
The Savin strop is narrower than my other, but I like this width. Seems easier to control.
It's really not so dark on this side.

Thanks Bruce. I've got a couple of open tucks of Rapira Stainless and Lord Stainless DE blades. They should last me another month or so in the Parker. I'll probably continue until I finish them up. Sometime this year, I'd like to do another focus on my Feather AC shavette.

If your wife is into the scent as much as you and you both find it unisex.......buy her Sofia by Sofia Vergara...yes the actress has a line of scents and "Sofia" is an absolute mirror scent of Blue Spruce.

    Thank you, Jim and Clint.

Clint, one of our clinicians is named Alfred Watkins. He taught in the Atlanta area for almost 40 years, most of the time at Lassiter High School. He's quite the character! We went to dinner with him last night and barely said a word. He held court the whole time.
