I'm up early to catch up on the thread and post my early morning shave. I'm back in the saddle again with the Parker SRX, and I decided to make it another menthol shave using the C.O. Bigelow.

Big agenda for today, including a la-di-da class called Wine and Chocolate: A Spectacular Pairing. Continuing education ranks high on my list.

I enjoyed an uneventful three pass shave to start the day. Not quite BBS. I feel a little rough spot on my left jaw, not an area I normally miss. Good enough for a day in nomex and work boots.

I am up and moving early for physical therapy before going into the office. @ram57 , Guy very graciously sent me a several samples of Black Ship Grooming shave soap and aftershave. I am a sucker for bay rum scents so I just had to break out the Blackbeard. The scent of the puck is a very pleasant bay rum scent without being too strong or too much clove. I pressed a very little bit of soap into the bottom of the shave bowl. Guy warned me a little goes a long way. No kidding, I had enough lather for two people to shave. Three passes and touch ups ended just short of a BBS shave. As usual my lower right neck proved to be my nemesis allowing the baby to escape. A splash of the matching Blackbeard aftershave and I am ready for the day. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.

Terrific picture, Clint! Mmm, bay rum! When EDSIO is finished I'm going to do nothing but bay rums for the remainder of February.

Good morning everyone! Just finished my morning shave. It's VDH day! I decided to use my VDH razor with corresponding blade. My Pro 89 did a great job of lathering my face with VDH luxury soap. WTG and ATG with touchups gave me a BBS shave. One weeper on chin because I was pretending I was Speed Racer. Lol! Finished with Clubman AS. Have a great day!

Finally reached Stirling in my alphabetical journey. I was instantly reminded why it's a favorite soap - slick, easy to lather, wonderful post shave, etc. All the goodies you want. One thing I've realized in this long focus is that post shave feel from the soap is important to me. Call me pampered or whatever, but I like the feeling of soft, hydrated skin on your face before the witch hazel and splash applications. That helps me whittle down a couple of soaps from the den.

Nice shave today. I'm making a list of several things to either PIF or sell. Time to trim down some and focus on some favorites.

I think this scent is being discontinued. It's in the clearance section of the site, and the aftershave is sold out. I just got a bar of the bath soap, liked the scent, and checked about the shaving soap and aftershave. I hope it makes a return sometime.
