    Good evening guys!
    1968 Gillette Slim Adjustable N4 (9)
    Rockwell DE Blade (?)
    Semogue Super Badger Brush
    Proraso Green SS and AS
    Nivea ASB.
Well, it's Menthol Monday so shaving with Proraso is the order of the day. Made a pasty load on my to slowly build my face lather to a nice wet consistency. The Slim Adjustable did a nice job on a 32 hr stubble. Two and a half pass gave me a nice IBSS++ without any blood loss and without any irritation. I facelathered the extra soap on the brush to feel the menthol cool and washed it off. Liberally added the Proraso aftershave and it felt great. The Nivea topped this nice shave. Have a good evening guys! 20200210_170939.jpg 20200210_170939.jpg

  11. Thank you, Tim! Proraso gives a nice and light cool shave. However, I can't wait to use my Cryogen SS and AS when the weather warms up.

  15. Thank you, Jim! It's nice to change it up a bit. With the exception of the Semogue brush, it was a basic setup that brings back the way most men shaved in the 50's and 60's. Unfortunately, there are many men that don't get the old-fashioned shaving experience with straights, SE and DE razors. Honestly, I can't go back to shaving without a brush, and using goo in a can with the multi-blade torture devices that are on the market.

Grabbed this at local Shoppers drug mart for 10 bucks . Preshave cream, tube shaving cream and AS balm in bottle. Have 2 unopened now and 1 being used . Here it costs 12 bucks for 1 individual item .
