I don't like to boast, but I'm fairly sure 007 hails from Kentucky. Did I tell you I have a 007 watch?

Seriously (and I know that's frowned upon 'round here), the craftsmanship of your brush handles and plating work is awesome, Evan.

Have a great week, my friend.

Nice shave with the Rex, Jeff. Now that it has been repaired, I'm sure you'll master it. (I'm a Technique Trumps Tools believer.) It's a great looking razor!

    February 17 SOTD:

    Razor: Rocnel Adjustable
    Blade: Polsilver
    Brush: Simpsons CH-2
    Lather: Stirling Baker Street
    Aftershave: Stirling Baker Street
    Additional Care:
    Unrefined Shea Butter

Yesterday got pretty busy, so I fell behind again. This morning, I went with some Stirling Baker Street, which is always a favorite. The performance is as good as anything out there in my opinion, and the shave was nice and smooth. I hope everyone has a great day!

Great shave report and photo Jeff. I am glad the Rex worked better after being repaired. It took me time to get used to the weight of the razor and its sweet spot.

Monday again. Everything worked well together this morning. I dialed the razor up to 6 for three passes and back to 1.5 for touch ups and buffing. A wonderful smooth drama free BBS shave. I really can't ask for better. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

Prep: Cold water and PAA Cube pre-shave soap
    Blade: Schick Proline
    Razor: RazoRock Black Hawk
    Brush: Stirling Kong synthetic
    Soap: Stirling Dirty South Shavers
    Post: Witch hazel, Speick aftershave

Nice and easy shave this morning. Superb lather and efficient whisker reduction. Just did one pass again. That's just fine for today. No students today due to the holiday but we have a district band directors' meeting to prepare for an event we're hosting this weekend. Those meetings are usually extremely efficient with the goal of being done by lunch so that everyone goes home early. :)

    Enjoy your day!
