Plenty of websites devoted to Sous Vide. This one really helped me.

That's ok Clint. Thanks . I never hit the razor on anything and handled it with great care . Do they make them in chrome still? If so maybe I'll ask for chrome instead .

That's poor workmanship and not acceptable Patrick!
I'd be on the phone talking to the maker about it. I would send it back for a refund or a new one.

On this Valentine's Day, I continued with the P.A.A. Boomtown Bay Rum soap&Clubman Special Reserve A.S. I just used the Sensor Deuce razor. It was a nice shave all over. I did get a nick at the center of N.W. Porcupine Alley, but it was easily weakened by the A.S., and I just washed it off a minute ago, thus nothing scary. 2 passes. Much better lather the second time around. Pleased, overall. Very Excellent.

Aweeome shave, pic and gear Joseph! The Dovo BQ usually has plastic scales. Whoever rescaled your razor did a wonderful job.

    Razor: AA Gen Takahashi Tokusei
    Brush: Jack Skully
Lather: Lakewood Soap Company - Test - Yellow
Aftershave: Derby City Chop Shop Small Batch Tonic- Winter Reserve
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Stirling Tea Tree Witch Hazel
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Day 2 of the Lakewood soap test. Today featured the yellow soap. Another very slick soap, same type scent as yesterday which leads me to believe a slightly different base composition. Another easily lathered soap. I will have to test out these soaps few more shaves over the next couple of weeks to determine which of the three I like the best.

I decided to keep the razor the same for assessment purposes. SWMBO approves the post face feel commenting that this shave appeared closer that usual. I find that anytime I use this Japanese razor I get phenomenally close shave. The only drawback to this morning’s shave was that evidently the scales of the razor had an crack at the pin and broke off when I was preparing to place it on the razor rack. Oh well. Time for a trip to the Sandpoint Spa for a new set of scales.

    Have a great day gentlemen.

Nice shaves Patrick! Again, that really is terrible that the Piccolo was defective.

Great shave Joe! Sorry about the scales. Was the crack originally there when you got the razor?
