After this shave tonight I forgot about the crappy snow and the crappy customer service rep I was dealing with over the Fatip piccolo.
This is just my opinion but if you get a 30° angle and just let the razor glide and do the work, you will get a smooth shave without razor burn, nick's or cuts . This razor will reward you big time but if you put the pressure to it then you can rest assured of it biting back .
The Dorco is a 2-3 shave blade for me I think . I will try the head with it to know for sure .
I love the scent of the Fine Italian citrus and it's sad this formula will be no more . The 4711 has a light citrus scent also and doesn't overpower . This shave put a big smile on my face :)

Great news, Patrick. Use your store credit for some pucks of soap and RUN. :)

Joseph, I hope these are the pics you wanted. Sorry it is later than I expected, it turned into a longer day. I assume you are looking for comparisons to the one you owned?

Wonderful shave, Patrick, and well-deserved after such a rough stretch. I hope this is the start of better days, my friend.

Let me know when you're ready, and we're start working on our vocabulary words again. ;)

Thanks Charlie. I needed a laugh tonight. I like words under 7 letters and two syllables. Nothing too complicated to start ok?:)

Very Fine shave Patrick! Last night a friend was telling me about the Dorco ST 301 blades and how they give smooth shaves. He is Greek and he has a tough beard. Now, I have read they aren't great blades. I probably will try them one day.

A bigger question is whether or not you would break your NB for it if you were sold it for $2...maybe NB Brotherhood Blair will sell you his.:)

    Long day=Shavette Fuing:

Excellent description of the Blackland, Dave. Very informative. What is the tool on top of the bowl?
Love the pic, Danny. Great job
With the RR. I liked the V2, but do prefer the weight of the V3 head.
Yeesh, that Mike’s must have sat a bit to spin. It isn’t usually rock hard. Great review of the frag as well, Joseph.
I really like Sapele, Jeff. Starts out kind of bland, but develops a nice richness with its patina. Those scales rock as well!
Great discussions about the scuttle today, Jim. I learned a lot, thank you.
Another great review! Ugh, painting ceilings bites. Hope it is a one day job, Joe.
Great shave, Charlie! Lots of Muhle R41 love on here lately for sure.
    Top tier, Gary! Eau Limey?:)
Some days I would take that trade.
Another great review today...more super info on the Zingari, Blair.
The healing powers of a great shave, Patrick!
