This old hillbilly engineer makes his pancakes, biscuits, and fried eggs free hand. No two ever turn out the same size.

The calories of a cylindrical pancake would certainly be easier to calculate, though. With this formula, armed with void fraction and number of calories per cu. cm of raised pancake flour....you'd be able to determine a correction portion size. Or you could just grab a couple of ridiculous ones and call it good.
