What's with the green-jarred MWF? Is the soap green, too?

Long cook. 48hrs at 131°. A tough cut of meat that came out super tender and medium rare.

I recycled a spare Stirling tub to put in a puck of MWF that I received from my daughter for my birthday last month.

The Fat facilitated another fabulous shave.
    Today's brush is a Simpson Commodore 3 circa 2011.
Lots of FatBoys in the postings as of late, so here's my D3.
Set to 9, I used a fresh Sharp Star.
    Excellent results.

    Good morning!

Awesome shave with an awesome scent! The brush, meh. I have two of these gelled boars. One gelled by Neil at Heritage and the other a Shoat knot from TnS. Both require a really long load time to pick up enough soap to do the job. Milton tells me the Shoat knot is a lather monster once broken in. I'm not going to give up yet but it's getting close.

    Have a great day!

Interesting….remember you had mentioned it was a long cook. So the low temp, over a long time, still rendered the connective tissues into tenderness. Very interesting. Opens up some ideas. Wifey loves flank steak (fajita style), but wants it cooked well done….and usually ends up a little tough. Will have to give this a whirl.

Nice shave, Bill, although I do see the slight frown! Pooh on the cabal! It’s your shave, and if you like the results you’re getting, “get thee behind me Satan” to the naysayers! I’m sending the Smith Bros off to Sweden for a new set of scales. Do you use tape anymore, or do you hone like Jared without it? Just curious!

    Well done?!?

I haven't done flank steaks yet but I did pick some up yesterday. Curious to hear your results if you beat me to it.
