I actually looked because I know we have some. Couldn't find any. This was as close as I could find.

Hey Lloyd, I always say ...Originality is; remembering what you heard and forgetting where you heard it. :lyrtuy5:
Yep, this cat wore the first hat; chain mail. This pic is of my first crusade as a Cat Templar. :D

I love fedoras, although I haven't worn one with any regularity in over 20 years. (Even the one in my avatar only comes out once or twice a year.) I'm a big guy, with a big head (7 5/8), and hats just don't look good on big heads. My brother has the same problem.

I wore a black fedora from Hats in the Belfry (NY City, I think) while I was in seminary. I don't know if they're still around.

Me in a smaller fedora 2 years ago. You can see what I mean. (Don't ask about the belly dancers.)

I like my Akubra Angler, I'm not much for the dressy hats.

Actually I think the Akubra Angler is a smokin lid, that looks great as an Outback Hat but also makes it with a Sport Coat equally aswell...an all round performer....;^)
And looks equally good on guys and gals....but I've always thought women looked great in a fedora.

I stand by what I said. That hat looks like it's trying to eat his face.

I've been looking at getting a nice panama hat lately. Maybe I'll start off with a cheap one and see if I like it first. The nice panamas are pricey.

Don,t waste your money on a cheap Panama.................. Do your home work on Web plenty of information on the different grade's & styles. Choose the one you can most afford.

Funny, maybe I was inspired by this thread but I ended up here this weekend:

Didn't actually buy anything but a great looking store.

They seem to have stores all over the place:

I've been to the New Orleans store(s). I believe one was in the Quarter, the other on Magazine Street. Phenomenal.

I have this thing for newsboy caps. I wish I could find one like I had back in the fifties. It was made of red and black striped corduroy, and had a belt buckle in the back, too, since this was 1957 male fashion.

I have been looking, too, for a hounds tooth checkered hat like Cleggy wears in Last of the Summer Wine.
