Maybe I got a bum tube or something. I like a nice foam like I get from Aveeno Shaving Gel. If I don't get a foam, it's not too much of a problem as the lubricity of the soap is what does it for me. I'd love to get another tube of the Tom's.
I think it would be neat if we could generate cases for a database so all of this experience could be captured and in be available in searchable form? JoAnna? I think it would be a real forum differentiator.
We should probably stop talking so much about Fels-Naptha. We wouldn't want to give JoAnna the wrong idea and accidentally encourage her to create a new "Fels-Naptha Type" TSD Soap or cologne. At least if she made this, it would be a soap you could shave with and breath with at the same time.
I was thinking more along the lines of someone making a heavy duty shave soap that would also remove facial blemishes like freckles, moles and age spots while you shave.
Does JoAnna make soaps? That's awesome. I wouldn't recommend a Fels Naptha soap. I'm done with it as a shaving soap. It was a fun experiment.

OK, so the way I'm reading the MSDS sheet and the Wikipedia piece is that the stuff is OK to use. No Stoddard Solvent anymore and just the usual stuff you'd find in soap. They don't recommend drinking it or getting it in your eyes and that goes for normal soap as well. Thanks for the citations there GD!
