    Hi fellow newbie! I never heard of a female using a straight razor! thats awesome

    Wiping your straight blade with a towel is perfectly fine and "MUCH" safer than a body part....:scared003: I believe the not wiping your blade advice comes from DE/SE blades with coatings and doesn't apply to uncoated blades...:)
