    I didn't, until I saw a slim twist (or knack) yesterday that someone had replaced the plastic shank with wood. It looked really nice!

    I saw that a guy, someplace in Europe, does convert Knacks to wood handles. I also thought about using rifle brass for a handle on a Knack or Slim Twist..................
