Took the brush through a test run today before setting the knot. Keep in mind, The only brush I've used is my omega 10049 boar. Razorock bay rum soap. The badger knot loaded fairly easy. While face lathering, it feels like the knot doesn't have enough back bone. Sort of like when you push against your face, the bristles bend and stay that way. Am I pushing too hard?
Apparently I was using too much pressure. After watching some videos and using it for 2 more days, It's pretty nice with almost no pressure. Just enough to splay out the knot.
Been using the brush all week. Thank you everyone, for all the help and advice. Time to find another to re-knot
