First brush restoration

    I used the newest brush today. While it was better than the first badger I did for face lathering, it was a bit prickly and no matter how much shave cream I added it never did form/hold good lather on the brush. I believe I'm a boar brush kind of guy.

    I know my cream is part of the problem, but not fully at fault since it works better in other brushes, (VDH for example). I do have other creams, just trying to use this one up. Which shouldn't be a problem at this rate.

    I've found that it takes several times for me to dial in each new brush. Maybe giving it a few more uses will improve the performance.

    Give it some time to break in it should get better. However it might just be that boar is the right kind of brush for you.

    I really like what you did with your brush restores. My knot is supposed to arrive today. I hope it is not prickly or skritchy.

    Here's my most recent.. Just got the synthetic knot from TGN today. Test fit, a little clean up, and BAM!
