First restoration project

    I would estimate 3 hours total labor. Although that does include a fair amount of just puttering around;)

    What did you end up securing it with? Anything special or just a general epoxy? Also pardon my n00bness what is TGN and a two nickel shelf?

    I used Devcon 2 Ton Clear Epoxy. Probably a little overkill on this project but I had some left over from another project.
    TGN is The Golden NIB a great source for knots.
    I used two nickels to build a shelf and add a little weight and balance.
