First shaves, issues with second pass

    The past two mornings, no cuts or weepers. Slowing down and gliding lightly has really helped. I also do not worry if I do not get every whisker in the pass. The next pass or so will get it. My bride bragged to my in laws at lunch today about how I can shave against the grain and I look less like I have a Fred Flistone beard. :) Impressing my bride is pleasing, ya know.

    Glad to hear that things are improving. I also don't mind having to lather up for another pass. I have been known to lather again after I'm smooth just for the pleasure of lathering. Of course I usually have enough lather for 4 or 5 passes. :D

    There ya go! It's about beard reduction, not trying to get it all in one pass. That's why most folks make three passes.
